Calibration

Hoffman Engineering offers a large variety of calibration services for light sources and sensors. Services for sources include luminance, radiance, irradiance, color temperature, luminance intensity and total luminous flux. Photometer calibration services include color correction curves, detector spectral response and color correction factors based on spectral response, calibration of brightness transfer source, full system checkout, electrical and mechanical repairs and adjustments.

Contract Testing

Calibrations and tests can be performed to meet military and industry specifications. Our spectral radiometric laboratory provides complete night vision device conformance test services and certified data to MIL-L-85762A. Laboratory calibrations fully comply with ISO-10012-1. Luminance, Illuminance, Radiance, Irradiance, Contrast(Specular/Diffuse) and Colorimetry are among the photometric and radiometric services which Hoffman offers in its full service laboratory. On site testing at the customers facility is also offered. Data is certified to NIST standards.
