NVIS LED CARGO BAY FLOODLIGHT
This LED light is designed to operate in up to two feet of water and is intended for applications such as transport helicopters which can hover low above water to discharge cargo or troops. The light has been qualified to virtually every MIL-STD 810 Environmental Test in addition to MIL-STD-461E EMI requirements. The lights are currently in service in extremely harsh environments.
The LED source is filtered for NVIS White IAW MIL-STD-3009. The white color allows for excellent color rendering in applications where map or label reading may be required. At the same time, the IR signature is well below Specification limits. In addition, the LED sources provide the user with all of the benefits typically derived from these long life, light weight, low current light sources.
